This month, we’re honored to celebrate Erin as our Employee of the Month!
Erin’s journey into caregiving began long before she joined HomeCare Professionals. From a young age, she felt called to help others, especially older adults. That passion grew through caring for her own grandparents, including helping care for her grandfather later in his life. Those experiences shaped not only her career but also the compassionate heart she brings to every client she serves.
Before joining HomeCare Professionals, Erin worked in Memory Care, where she found tremendous fulfillment supporting seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. While she loved that role, she says finding HomeCare Professionals has been even more rewarding.
“I don’t feel like this is a job. I feel like I’m coming to help my elderly family or relatives. I treat my clients as I would my family members. As we all deserve the best care possible.”
Those words perfectly reflect the values we strive to live every day.
Home care is about much more than helping with daily tasks. It’s about building relationships, creating trust, preserving dignity, and helping people continue living safely and comfortably in the place they call home. Erin embodies that mission with every visit, treating each client with the same kindness, patience, and respect she would give her own loved ones.
Outside of work, Erin has been happily married for 27 years and is a proud mom of two. Her oldest child proudly serves our country in the United States Army, while her daughter is a dedicated preschool teacher, helping shape the next generation. Their family also includes Luna, their energetic Shepsky (German Shepherd/Husky mix), who keeps life full of fun and adventure.
When asked what she enjoys most about HomeCare Professionals, Erin didn’t hesitate.
