At HomeCare Professionals, we know that paying for home care can be challenging for many families. That’s why we work with several programs that may cover the cost of care or provide significant financial assistance. Our team helps guide you through the process so you can access the support you need with less stress and uncertainty.
Below are some of the programs we can connect you with. Please fill out the form to determine whether you or your loved one may qualify.
Our Medicare Guide Program helps families navigate Medicare benefits and understand what services may be covered. While traditional Medicare does not usually cover ongoing personal care, there are situations where short-term home health services may be available. We’ll walk you through your options and make sure you’re not missing out on benefits that may reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
For eligible California residents, CalAIM is a statewide initiative designed to expand access to care, including home- and community-based services. Through CalAIM, qualifying families may be able to receive personal care, homemaker services, or other supports at little to no cost. We work directly with you and your Medi-Cal provider to determine eligibility and coordinate care.
The MSSP provides social and health care management services to older adults who are at risk of nursing home placement. The program offers case management and may fund in-home care services to help seniors remain safe and independent at home. Our care coordinators can assist you in applying for MSSP and making the most of its benefits.
If you have long-term care insurance, you may qualify for coverage through CareScout. This program helps policyholders activate benefits and get reimbursed for home care services. HomeCare Professionals is an approved provider, and we’ll help manage the paperwork so you can focus on what matters most—your loved one’s well-being.
Eligible veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for the VA Aid and Attendance benefit, which can help pay for home care services. This monthly payment is added to an existing VA pension and can cover personal care, companionship, and daily living support. We partner with veterans and their families to guide them through the application process and ensure they receive the benefits they’ve earned.
Through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), eligible veterans may qualify for Home Health Aide and Homemaker services to help them remain safe and independent at home. These services are designed for veterans who need extra support with daily activities but prefer to stay out of a nursing home or long-term care facility.
These benefits are arranged through the VA health care system and can be provided by trusted agencies like HomeCare Professionals. They give families peace of mind while ensuring veterans receive the respect, dignity, and support they deserve.
Our mission is to make quality home care accessible to every family that needs it. If you think you may qualify for one of these programs—or if you’d like help understanding your options—reach out to us today. Our experienced care team is here to guide you every step of the way.
